Vendakka Mezhukkupuratti

Ingredients:

Okra (Sliced) – 500g

Green Chillies: 2 Nos

Shallots -10 Nos

Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp

Red Chilli Flakes: 1/2 tsp

Oil :1 tbsp

Mustard seeds: 1 tsp

Curry leaves: 1 sprig

Salt to taste

Preparation

First Wash the okra (Vendakka) and slice it thinly, once the okra (Vendakka) is sliced place a pan on a stove and heat the oil, and fry the okra and chilies until its stickiness will go and place it on a plate. Then In the same pan, add oil, and once it becomes hot add mustard when mustard starts to pop, add shallots and curry leaves. Sauté it until the shallot becomes golden brown.

Then add the vendakka (okra), and also turmeric powder and stir it for 4-5 minutes. After 5 minutes turn off the pan and place it on a plate and serve it.
