KERALA TRADITIONAL FISH MOLLY RECIPE

Ingredients :

The first thing you need to do is the marination of fish

½ kg fish

 Lemon juice or vinegar-1 tbsp

Pepper powder -1tsp

Turmeric powder -1tsp

Salt (as required)

Next is for curry

Ginger (finely minced)-1/2 tbsp

Garlic clove(finely chopped)-2-3

onion -1 no (Sliced)

Green chilies -3-4

Turmeric powder-1/2 tbsp

Pepper-1/2 tsp

Thin coconut milk-1 Cup

Curry leaves -6-7 nos

Tomato -1

Salt (as required)

Coconut oil (as required)

Method of preparation :

You need to clean and then cut fish into pieces after that marinate the fish with salt, lemon juice, pepper, and turmeric powder for 30 minutes.

In a Pan add oil a little bit and shallow fry fish on both sides and keep it aside. In a separate pan, add a little bit of oil and heat on a medium flame add curry leaves, ginger, garlic, and green chillies, sauté for a few minutes. After that add sliced onions and sauté until it turns golden. After add remaining powders and thin coconut milk. Close the lid and boil the Curry for 5 minutes on a medium flame after a few minutes reduce the flame to a low and add lemon juice

Then add the fried fish, cover it with the gravy, make them to blend both. Do not stir once the fish is added, instead rotate the pan to mix the gravy.

Add the thick coconut milk and cook on a low flame for another 2-3 minutes. Add sliced round tomatoes and more curry leaves, close the lid and switch off the flame. Let the tomato cook in the remaining steam.
