KERALA TRADITIONAL APPAM RECIPE

Ingredients for Appam :

Raw rice – 4 tbsp

Coconut – 1 count

Yeast – 1 tbsp

Salt – to taste

Sugar – 2 tbsp

Boiled rice-1/2 cup

Water -According to a batter consistency

Method of preparation :

Soak the rice for bread for about four to five hours and drain the water completely. Then add the cooked rice, coconut, and enough water and grind it in a mixer. Pour the yeast, salt, and sugar in hot water and leave for half an hour. Add this to the grind mixture. Leave the mixture to ferment for eight hours. After that pour, the mixture into a pan wait for minutes. Then transfer to another bowl and have it with your favorite curry.
