Parboiled rice- 1/2 cups

Method of preparation :
Before getting into cooking wash the rice 2-3 times.
Then boil the water in a cooker
Once the water starts boiling add the rice along with salt. After the close, the lid of the cooker then cooks until the maximum of 4-5 whistle. Then switch off the flame, After a few minutes once the pressure is released open the lid and stir the kanji and have it with pickle or toran.
