Broken wheat – 1 tsp
Ghee – 2 tbsp
2 cups – jaggery
Water – 4 tbsp
Nuts, raisins – as needed
Wash the broken wheat, strain it and fry in ghee.
In a bowl, strain the jaggery into 2 cups of water.
Strain the jaggery water into 2 cups of water. Cover the roasted broken wheat in 2 cups of water and cook. The wheat is browned until the water is almost dry. Add jaggery paste and drain. Take another pan, pour 1 tbsp ghee in it, add roasted nuts and raisins and serve with Broken wheat payasam.
