KERALA TRADITIONAL MEEN MULAKITTATHU RECIPE

Ingredients :

Fish- 500 g

Red chili powder – 2 tsp

Coriander powder – 2 tsp

Ginger – 1 tsp(chopped)

Garlic – 2-3 clove

Kokum – 2-3 nos

Salt – to taste

Tempering

Coconut oil – 3 tbsp.

Shallots – 2 or 3 nos

Mustard seeds – 1 tsp.

Red chili – 2 nos

Fenugreek – a pinch

Curry leaves – 2 sprigs  

Method of preparation :

First, you Clean the fish and cut it to pieces then marinate the fish for a while. Take a pan and pour the oil then put Sliced ginger and garlic after Smear with red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, kokum, and curry leaves. Then add the fish into that masala then add water and cook for 5 to 10 minutes. Tasty and simple Kerala-style meen mulakittathu is ready to serve.
