Ingredients
Grated coconut-1 Cup
Shallots-1 Cup
Green chillies- 2-3 Nos
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Turmeric powder-¼ tsp
Chilli powder-1 1/2 to 2 table spoon
fenugreek powder-2 pinches
Termaraid- Small round
Curry leaves- A few
Coconut oil- 2 -3 teaspoon
Water-Accordingly
Salt as required
Preparation
First you need to soak the tamarind in water
Then roast the coconut with shallots, curry leaves until they turn dark brown.
Once the roasting process completed keep the mixture aside let it cool down then grind the mixture. Heat coconut oil in a thick bottomed vessel. Then Sputter the mustard seeds Once that over sauté the green chillies, shallots curry leaves with salt for 2-3 minutes.
Then add the ground coconut mix, soaked tamarind water and water as required
Mix the curry well and boil until the gravy become thick.
Turn of the flame once the oil from the curry sets.
