KERALA TRADITIONAL UNNAKKAYA RECIPE

Ingredients
  

  • 3 nos Banana
  • ¼ tbsp Cardamom
  • A few Raisins
  • cup Grated Coconut
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • cup Coconut Oil

Notes

First, steam the banana using a steamer then take a pan and heat it. Add two tablespoons of sugar and add a little bit of water and make a sugar syrup into that add grated coconut, raisins and cardamom then continue stirring turn off the heat.
Now take the banana from the steamer and smash it, then make a dough, inside the dough make a hole and add the mixture of coconut we prepared and cover it again with the dough and make that in a spindle shape.
The same way prepares a few pieces
Once enough pieces are ready, heat some oil and fry the pieces.
When unnakkaya turns to golden brown take it from the pan and have it with tea.
